Do you want to make a difference?
We are looking for exceptional solicitors to join the Law Society’s policy and regulatory committees. Drawing on your legal practice expertise, you will shape our work to protect the rule of law, preserve access to justice and enhance the practice of law.

Appointments are for three years, with potential for this to extend. Reasonable expenses are reimbursed, along with an annual incidental expenses allowance of £740 (this allowance amount may be updated for 2021).
Our Structure
We are governed by our Council and supported by the Board and by a number of Committees, who work together to discuss matters of legal and regulatory policy. We are committed to the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion, and welcome applications from all members of the profession, irrespective of race, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability or religion. All appointments are made on merit.
