An excellent opportunity has arise for a qualified employment lawyer with at least 1 years' PQE (or equivalent skills and experience) to work in the Commercial Department at our Portsmouth office.
This role would suit a dedicated and driven employment lawyer who is passionate about employment law and who enjoys finding solutions clients' problems.
Your caseload will include a mix of both contentious and non-contentious matters working for both employes and employees.
- Drafting contracts of employment, employee handbooks, consultancy agreements, settlement agreements etc.
- Advising on restrictive covenants and confidentiality agreements.
- Advising on contentious work issues and settlement agreements.
- Employment tribunal case preparation and representation for both claimants and respondents for all types of claims.
- Business development activities including attending events, training and seminars.
The Ideal Candidate
A sound knowledge of employment law is essential along with strong academics, good interpersonal skills (both verbal and written), excellent client care and the ability to organise, prioritise, handle and take responsibility for a varied caseload.

This is a permanent position working 35 hours per week.
